Why Do Girls Love Shopping?

Okay, I'm a girl and I admit I can't stop shopping. I shop until I drop, I am a certified shopper. Seriously, I'm actually a certified mystery shopper to earn the cash for my shopping habit. As a professional shopaholic, I will attempt to address the allure of shopping by answering the baffling question - why do girls need to shop?

In this modern world of fashion, style has become a statement. Today for every girl to look presentable has become an important factor. And so shopping for cosmetics, clothes, bags, sandals, shoes, etc has become a daily routine. Girls generally prefer variety in their clothing. They need to have new collection practically every week. And so shopping on a weekend has become a part of daily life. Being well-dressed and looking good is very important. Every girl wants to look better than the other. Some of the factors that are minutely looked upon are combination of colors, the types of sandal or shoes for clothing accessories etc. There is no doubting that girls love to go shopping for girls clothing. They will go out in search of the tightest pair of jeans they can find and the most beautiful dress that they can wear to the next ball. They will happily spend all day on a weekend browsing through all of the different shops that offer the sorts of things they are after in search of that great bargain. When it comes to their favorite past times, shopping is most definitely girls’ equivalent to sports for men.

But why is it that girls love to go shopping for clothes so much?

Well, the most obvious reason to consider is because they just love to look great. Girls will happily spend half of their time and money heading to the shops to get make up, jewellery, and clothing so they can dress up and look great at the next social occasion.They love to keep up with fashion and maintain their style with all of the newest trends. Whenever they see their celebrity heroes wearing some new style of clothing in one of their magazines they will immediately want to go out and emulate their look. Keeping up with the different fashions help them to stay fresh with what they are wearing and is important in maintaining their confidence and self esteem.Girls are also surprisingly competitive when it comes to clothing and will always want to outdo their friends with the best style and the most beautiful dresses. Men might enjoy competing on the sports fields, but the female battleground is most definitely the mall!The whole experience for girls is all about having a great day out. They can relax and spend time browsing through all of their favorite stores and finding little local boutique outlets in order to find a more unique bargain. Its the entire package of shopping, having a chat, and chilling out over a cup of coffee that makes the whole experience so enjoyable and appealing.
